NEW JERSEY: Muslim community in New Jersey organized its 4 th annual Eid Festival in Edison, New Jersey.
The event was organized by Masjid-Al-Wali, MCMC, MCNJ and Edison Muslim Community Center. The festival began with recitation of verse of Holy Quran then children performed Nasheed.
Like every year large number of women came out and shown their interest in buying eastern dresses from different stalls where huge variety of clothes presented.
Clothes, jewelry and many stalls were available Where participant of festival including men women and children bought different products for themselves.
Very interesting part of this festival to see huge rush of people at the food carts where specially youngsters enjoyed the taste of different food.
Thousands of Muslims have participated in the Edison Eid Festival and shown their unity also gave a message of peace and prosperity.
Famous American comedian writer, motivational speaker and actor Umar Rehgan also attended the Festival, his presence has spread smiles and laughter on the faces of the audience.
Along with Edison Town’s Mayor Sam Joshi, various American officials participated in this festival and congratulated all Muslims on Eid-ul-Adha
Every one enjoyed a lot in Eid Festival, Muslim children performed on stage and their unique performance was highly appreciated by the audience. The organizers of this year’s fid Festival expressed their greetings to all. They appealed community to continue their support.
A dedicated area was set especially for children where kids engrossed in Jumping, costumes and bouncy houses. There were many other things at the festival that are for the entertainment of children including horse-riding.
The participation of large number of Muslim community in the annual Eid Festival in Edison, New Jersey made this event successful.
