NEWYORK: Pakistani American community congratulated Pakistani-origion Inspector Adeel Rana in New York Police on his appointment as a key officer in the Counterterrorism Division.
The first Pakistani-American inspector and commanding officer in the New York Police Department, Adeel Rana, got an important responsibility in the Operational Support Section of the Counter-Terrorism Department Division.

Social and business figures of the Pakistani community reached Adeel Rana’s office to congratulate him and celebrated his appointment.
The delegation included Mecca Masjid President Zafar Iqbal, Raja Azad Gul, Rana Saeed, Aziz Butt and others.

NYPD Deputy Chief Richie Taylor, Muslim Officer Society President and Deputy Inspector Waheed Akhtar, Deputy Inspector Jahangir Ashraf and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The participants cut the cake with Adeel Rana and expressed their best wishes for his further development and success.
