NEWYORK: Pakistan Day Parade and Fair Committee in New York organized an Eid Millan event in New York which was attended by parade committee officials, community dignitaries, and people from different walks of life.
The event, held at the residence of Qasim Majeed, President of the Pakistan Day Parade and Fair Committee 2026, was aimed at jointly celebrating the joys of Eid, welcoming the new board members of the committee, and consulting on the preparations for the upcoming Pakistan Day Parade and Fair. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Chairman of the Pakistan Day Parade and Fair Committee, Ahmed Khan, while addressing the participants, said that the Pakistan Day Parade will now be run as a truly representative event of the Pakistani community.
He clarified that this platform will be beyond any political party or political affiliation and will be equally open to people of all political, social and religious backgrounds.

Addressing the participants, Parade Secretary General Haroon Najam Ramey said that our unity is very important for living in this country.
He urged all members of the community to be part of this platform to promote unity, solidarity and mutual respect so that the culture and positive identity of Pakistan can be effectively conveyed to the coming generations.
Pakistan Day Parade and Fair Committee President Qasim Majeed thanked the participants for their attendance and said that you people should always continue to support them in the same spirit.
Other members of the Parade Committee were also present at the ceremony and expressed their views regarding next year’s activities, community outreach programs and making Pakistan Day Parade and Fair 2026 more successful.

A lavish dinner was also organized in honor of the guests on this occasion, which featured a special barbecue.
Later, the organizers thanked all the participants and expressed their determination to make the Pakistan Day Parade and Fair 2026 a more magnificent, organized and representative event of all sections of the community than in the past.
