11 th Muslim advocacy day concluded in Washington

WASHINGTON D.C: The two-day 11th Muslim Advocacy Day in Washington concluded after raising the voice for the rights of Muslims and immigrants. Muslim youth presented copies of the Holy Quran with English translation to members of Congress.

The delegations which came from different states of the United States to participate in the 11th annual Muslim Advocacy Day continued their meetings with members of Congress on the second day.

The youth in the delegation presented copies of the Holy Quran translated into English and literature based on Islamic teachings to their representatives in the offices of various members of Congress so that they can understand the true message of the religion of Islam through the study of the Holy Quran.

President of the ICNA Council for Social Justice Nassau County Abdul Rahman said that we are proud to be Americans as well as Muslims and that our religion Islam is a religion of peace and harmony.

The delegation, which came at the invitation of the US Council of Muslim Organizations, also spoke to members of Congress and their representatives.

Earlier, Democrat Congressman Algreen said in a press conference that he had been saying many times that we cannot continue funding Netanyahu and he wanted to tell that many other people also want to say this but there are many reasons for their silence.

The congressman further said that he does not ask anyone to do what he has not done himself but he only say that he did this work and if anybody want to do it, they can join him in it.
