NEWYORK: Pakistan has called for exercising restraint, demonstrating political will and earnestly engaging dialogue for meaningful and mutually acceptable settlement of Ukraine issue.
Addressing a briefing at the United Nations Security Council on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan Ambassador Usman Jadoon said Pakistan remains an ardent supporter of a peaceful resolution of this conflict.
He added that Pakistan welcome the renewed momentum towards peace and diplomatic engagements, led by the United States.
Ambassador Usman Jadoon said Pakistan stands ready to support all endeavours aimed at resolving the issue peacefully and in a just, comprehensive and durable manner.
