American Pakistani Advocacy Group and Assemblyman David Weprin distributes toys to children at Jamaica hospital

NEWYORK: The American Pakistani Advocacy Group, in collaboration with Assemblyman David Weprin ‘s office, distributed toys to children undergoing treatment at Jamaica hospital center to promote humanitarianism and the spirit of joy.

The aim of this initiative was to bring joy to children who are undergoing treatment in hospitals instead of celebrating their holidays at home.

President of American Pakistani Advocacy Group Ali Rashid said that our mission is to convey a message of joy and love to every member of society, especially to those children who for some reason cannot celebrate the holidays at their homes.

Assemblyman David Weprin and other American officials said that Ali Rashid and the American Pakistani Advocacy Group are participating in this campaign during the holidays and we are doing this work in collaboration with Jamaica Hospital and Medical Center.

They said that APAG has deep ties with the community in New York city and we are fortunate to have this organization in Queens to support the hospital.

Volunteers of the organization said it was a great joy to see the happiness on the children’s faces. During the toy distribution, APAG volunteers and Assemblyman David Weprin added the joy of children by giving gifts to them.
