WASHINGTON D.C: Pakistan’s Ambassador to United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh extended greetings on behalf of embassy of Pakistan to the American people on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day.
In his message, Pakistani ambassador said that this celebration of Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude towards Divine benevolence and it is certainly an outstanding and a distinguishing feature of American society, which perhaps needs to be replicated also in terms of its spirit in other parts of the world.
“I would also take this opportunity to mention the contribution of Pakistani Americans in the development of not only the US political economy, society but also their contribution towards augmenting the bilateral ties and strengthening the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and United States,” he said.
“Ours is a history of consequential partnership. Each time our two countries have come together, it has been consequential not only for us, but in most cases for the broader world,” he said.
“I congratulate Pakistani Americans on this auspicious occasion and hope that with regard to the partnership of our two countries in terms of the shared values that bind our two countries and their people together, including of course the familial links, the relationship between Pakistan and United States will continue to flourish in the months and years ahead,” he added.
