NEWYORK: The Martyrdom Day of Hazrat Ali (RA) was observed with devotion and respect all over the world. The 19th annual central mourning procession of Yum-e-Ali (RA), organized by Jaffaria Council and Jafferia Youth of New York, was taken out from Jamaica area Queens. A large number of mourners attended the procession.
Addressing a participants of mourning procession, the religious scholars highlighted the life of Hazrat Ali (RA) and narrated the incident of his martyrdom.
The speakers said that Muslims can beautify their lives in the world and hereafter by following the life of Hazrat Ali (RA).
The procession proceeded towards its destination with the Alm and Zuljinnah. The participants of the procession were reciting ‘Nohas’ to pay glowing tributes to Hazrat Ali (RA) and kept mourning.
The organizers of the procession including President of Jafferia Council of USA Aja Abid Numerdar, Jafferia Youth of New York President Raja Amaar Yasir and others said that we need to forget mutual differences and promote the unity among Muslims. The main mourning procession passed through its designated traditional routes, offered Zuharain prayer and ended by reaching Al-Khoei Center where the mourners broke their fast.
