New York: Israeli-American Mazi Melesa Pilip who is a Republican candidate from the 3rd congressional district of New York in the Feb-13 Special Elections, has vowed to resolve issues of American Muslims as well as immigrants, once she is elected.
Also, she said the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine is complex, and she wants durable peace to be established for the great good of the people.
She said this in a meeting with Muslims to seek the support of Muslims in the Congressional elections.
Mazi Pilip reached out to Muslims and the South Asian community to seek their support in a special election and presented her manifesto.
Muslims in the South Asian community on this occasion also raised the Israel-Palestine issue, on which she underscored the need for durable peace. “In my view, no one’s religion, nationality, color, and race are important, I am convinced of equality, the issue of Israel and Palestine is a complex issue and I wish that peace is established there,” Pilip stressed.
Business and social personalities of the South Asian community participated in this meeting. Mazi Pilip also said that she has found friendship with Muslims to be the best in her life.

The Congress candidate said that since Biden was elected president, the arrival of immigrants has increased; taxes and inflation have also increased. If elected, I will raise my voice on these issues in the Congress.
