NEWYORK: The Anjuman-e-Ghousia International in New York has announced to observe Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession in a grand manner on August 23.
The procession will start from Avenue H and will culminate after returning to Mecca Masjid via its designated route. The organizers have appealed to everyone to ensure full participation in the procession.
Anjuman-e-Ghousia International in New York has started preparations to observe the 41st annual Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession with dignity, devotion and respect.
The consultative meeting and press conference held in this regard began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
The meeting, chaired by Pir Syed Safdar Hussain Shah, founder and head of Anjuman-e-Ghousia, was attended by the organization’s office bearers, members, business community and prominent figures of the community.
Addressing the participants, Pir Syed Safdar Hussain Shah and other scholars explained the preparations, arrangements and route of the procession and announced the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be held on Sunday, August 23.
They said that God created the universe in the love of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a source of happiness.
Pir Syed Safdar Shah’s son Shiraz Safdar Shah and community leader Sheikh Ashfaq said that the entire community should participate in the procession with full participation and we should all try to make the Milad-un-Nabi procession more organized and better.
The participants of the consultative meeting gave suggestions and advice to further improve the arrangements for the procession. The speakers gave the message that the participants of the procession should ensure punctuality and implementation of discipline and promote unity, harmony and tolerance.
According to the organizers, the procession will be started at 9 AM on Sunday August 23, from Avenue H, whereas breakfast will be provided for the participants of the procession, and Nazar Niyaz will also be offered at the procession’s passageways.
