NEWYORK: Pakistan American Community of USA celebrated the 250th American independence day with zeal and enthusiasm in New York.
Pakistan American community members gathered at the residence of PAC USA General Secretary Asim Malik in Hicksville to celebrate Independence Day.
The Independence Day celebration was attended by the PAC USA and Long Island United teams, as well as community business and social figures Saif Nagra, Mohammad Asif and others.
Host of the event and PAC USA General Secretary Asim Malik expressed his gratitude to all the guests for their presence, while the organization’s President Humayun Sheikh said that today’s event will always be memorable.
The organizers made best arrangements and the American Independence Day event was presenting the atmosphere of a festival.
Nassau County Executive Senior Advisor Chaudhry Akram and Asian American Affairs Executive Director Aun Naqvi said that it is very important to organize such events so that our new generation can understand the historical importance of July 4.
Various types of food were prepared for the guests participating in the event at the joint barbecue setup of Sherzai Brothers and Asim Malik.
Humayun Safdar and Iqra congratulated the American Independence Day.
Later, a special cake prepared in connection with the American Independence Day was cut and served to the guests.
