Made in Pakistan, Friends of Little Pakistan celebrate Pakistan Day in New York

NEWYORK: Made in Pakistan and Friends of Little Pakistan organized an event to celebrate Pakistan Day in New York.

A large number of the Pakistani American community participated in the event, which began with recitation of Holy Quran by Hafiz Ijaz Ahmed followed by Hamd and Naat by Tariq Butt and Malik Irshad Ahmed Thiam.

The event was moderated by CEO of Made in Pakistan Syed Zahid Shahbaz.

Mirza Sher Ahmed Baig welcomed the guests. The speakers paid tribute to the founders of Pakistan and the martyrs of Pakistan in the event.

Addressing the participants, Syed Zahid Shahbaz said that the slogan of Long Live Pakistan is the voice of the heart of every Pakistani.

Speakers including Aziz Butt, Haji Khalid, Nadeem Arif Butt, Chaudhry Sadaqat, Asia Shabbir, Haseeb Jaggi and Anila Rashid also spoke. The speakers vowed that they would always remember the sacrifices of the martyrs of Pakistan.

The descendants of Shakarganj Baba Farid Haq Farid Qasim Faridi, filmmaker and CEO of Red Lipstick Salman Butt gave a special address in the program and saluted the sons who made sacrifices for the country and the nation.

The participants reiterated their resolve that they would play their every possible role for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan even while living abroad.
