NEWYORK: A social organization People in Need, in collaboration with Islamic Relief USA, distributed Ramadan ration bags to hundreds of low-income families in New York.
The non-profit social organization People in Need set up a camp on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn in collaboration with Islamic Relief USA and Halal Food and distributed Ramadan food boxes to low-income families.
People in Need founder Nosheen Ali said that in the present inflation it has become difficult for low-income to obtain even basic necessities and we have tried to help them in some way through this effort.
Ramadan food boxes were distributed along with fruits and vegetables, as well as all the necessary daily food items.
People made queues at the time of distribution of Ramadan food boxes, while the People in Need team and volunteers offered their services vigorously.
