NEWYORK: Pakistan has warned that liquidity crisis is undermining United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission’s gains in Central African Republic (CAR).
Speaking at the UN Security Council, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Ambassador Usman Jadoon said the crisis has occurred due to budget shortfalls.
He said Pakistan is proud to contribute more than twelve hundred uniformed personnel to the Mission.
The Ambassador said Pakistan will continue working with partners toward lasting peace and stability.
