ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdom has offered four hundred thousand US dollars for the capacity building of Geological Survey of Pakistan.
The offer was made by British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott who met Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik in Islamabad.
Jane Marriott acknowledged enormous investment opportunities in Pakistan.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said that progress will be made within the mineral sector of country with the cooperation of British Geological Survey and Geological Survey of Pakistan.
The Minister invited British companies to invest in offshore oil and gas exploration in Pakistan.
