ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s prime minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed the officials concerned to facilitate the citizens’ access to government facilities through the use of technology.
Chairing a meeting to review matters pertaining to National Information Technology Board in Islamabad, PM also directed to facilitate the intending pilgrims by digitizing all necessary stages of the Hajj from this year.
He appreciated the thorough preparations made by Ministry of Information Technology and other concerned ministries for the establishment of Asan Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad.
Prime Minister said he will review the QR-based feedback system for overseas Pakistanis soon.
The meeting was briefed that a secure new app will be launched soon for all government sector institutions.
It was told that an integrated One Patient One ID system is in the final stages of preparation for timely and better provision of services in hospitals.

It was briefed that National Information Technology Board is running more than 145 government websites, 126 portals and 31 mobile phone applications.
