‘Payam-e-Mohabat’ international Mushaira held in New Jersey
NEW JERSEY: Muhiban-e-Urdu of North America and Cultural Society of Bergen County organized the ‘Payam-e-Mohabat’ international Mushaira in New Jersey in which renowned and distinguished poets recited their poems and received a lot of appreciation.
Muhiban-e-Urdu, the Cultural Society of Bergen County and Jhilmil Entertainment organized an international mushaira at a private hotel in New Jersey, in which renowned poets from Pakistan and India participated. The mushaira was moderated by Khalid Irfan while the president of the mushaira was Basir Kazmi.
A large number of audience members from all over the United States participated in the Mushaira.
Cultural Society of Bergen County’s Farhat Khan, Ghazala Chauhan, Khwaja Khatib and Moazzam played an important role in organizing the Mushaira and due to their hard work and organizational skills, the Mushaira continued with excellent arrangements.
Renowned poets Basir Kazmi, Abbas Tabish, Mahshar Afridi, Humaira Rehan, Madan Mohan Danish, Khalid Irfan, Nina Adil and Ammar Iqbal presented poems in the international Mushaira.

The ghazals and poems recited during the Mushaira not only highlighted the message of love, tolerance and humanity, but also promoted the heartwarming beauty of the Urdu language and its literary beauty.
The distinguished poets captivated the hearts of the audience with their poetry.
This series of Urdu Mushaira in America has become a strong tradition of promoting language and literature among the immigrant community. The Payam-e-Mohabbat Mushaira proved to be a beautiful addition to this tradition.
This literary gathering once again brought together people who love Urdu language and literature. Each poet not only made the atmosphere emotional with his unique style of expression and color of speech but also won the full applause of the audience.
Later, the president of the poetry festival, renowned poet Basir Kazmi, presented his unique poetry to the audience.
At the end of the event, the organizers thanked all the poets and participants and reiterated their resolve that in the future they will continue to organize more literary programs for the promotion of Urdu with the same passion and enthusiasm.
