NEWYORK: The Memon Association of North America organized a US-Canada road show 2025, which was well attended by prominent Memon community leaders from US, Canada and other countries, distinguished guests and people from different walks of life.
The event began with the recitation of the holy Quran and a prayer for the deceased board members, which was offered by Azeem Itabani.
The event was moderated by Hamza Khamisa and Alia Adenwala.
A short video on the achievements of the special guest of the event, President World Memon Organization Salman Iqbal, was also shown.
One of the founders of the organization and a senior member Iqbal Mozawala was presented with a shield and bouquet in recognition of his services. The event also highlighted the services rendered by the late Mrs. Yasmin Mozawala to the organization.
MANA representatives highlighted the community services, current projects and future strategies.
President Memon Association of North America Suhel Millwala, Vice President Javed Brochi, Chairperson Women Wing Shaheen Retiwalla, Afza Lakhani, Aftab Masalawala, MANA Treasurer and Board Member Kamran Motani, and MANA MPL Advisor Dr. Aman Akbar were also spoke on the occasion.
The speakers thanked the guests for their presence and emphasized their cooperation for the roadshow.
MPL Advisor Dr. Aman Akbar also introduced his management and requested the special guest of the event, Salman Iqbal, to present the trophy to the Mukati Thunders team.
Later, Ashraf Sattar, the first member of WMO, was given the opportunity to express his views on stage.
MANA Secretary Ladies Wing USA Canada Hani Javed informed about the organization’s future plans.
President of the World Memon Organization Salman Iqbal highlighted the Memon community’s global services and future goals. He emphasized the importance of Memon community’s global services, mutual unity, and youth involvement.
Regional President of the World Memon Organization for USA and Canada Anis Bakaly said that we pray that Allah will make us successful in this goal and we will be able to work with all of us together.
Later, commemorative shields were presented to the special guest, President WMO Salman Iqbal, and those who have rendered outstanding services in the organization.
A special dinner was also arranged for the guests. This effort by the Memon Association of North America is seen as a positive step towards keeping the community united, promoting mutual relations and attracting the younger generation towards leadership.
