WMO’s North American roadshow reaches Chicago

CHICAGO: The World Memon Organization’s North American roadshow successfully reached Chicago. A grand ceremony of the roadshow was held at the Holiday Inn Skokie.

World President of WMO and Founder and CEO of ARY Network Mohammad Salman Iqbal, attended the event as the special guest.

After holding road shows in Chicago, Houston and Dallas, the caravan will now head to New York and Toronto next week.

The aim of this visit of the World Memon Organization is to organize the Memon community living in the US and Canada, and to guide them on the path of mutual unity and development.

Prominent Memon personalities from the business and social circles of Chicago attended the event.

On this occasion, 60 new people joined paid membership of the World Memon Organization, while the Memon Association of Chicago Illinois announced the formal joining of 100 of its members in the World Memon Organization.

Addressing the event, Salman Iqbal said that the aim of this road show is to pave new paths of unity, cooperation and development by bringing the chapters of the World Memon Organization around the world, and especially the Memon community in the US, on a single platform.

He said that the World Memon Organization dreams of a world where the Memon and Muslim communities live meaningful lives with education, health, stability and dignity, and play an effective role in social harmony and development.

He said that the Memon community has promoted the values ​​of compassion, unity and service to humanity from generation to generation, and the World Memon Organization is taking these traditions forward by adapting them to modern requirements.

The participants were encouraged to become part of the World Memon Organization and participate fully in the elections so that the USA Chapter can be effectively represented.

On this occasion, Bushra Amiwala, a candidate for Congressional District 9, expressed her pride in being a member of the organization and described her performance.

Explaining the purpose of the event, President of the Chicago Memon Community Jawad Khandwala said that through this forum, the entire Memon community was to be brought together under one banner.

This roadshow of the World Memon Organization is not only bringing the community closer but is also strengthening the collective identity, welfare initiatives and development efforts of the Memon community at the global level.
