KARACHI: Zoobi Mama horse riding club organized an Independence Day event at Karachi beach in which children participated in archery, horse riding and target shooting.
Zobi Mama Horse Riding Club has been established in Karachi to provide training to children and youth in traditional and useful activities like horse riding, archery and shooting. Not only boys but a large number of girls also participate the Independence Day event.
Apparently, horse riding is considered an expensive hobby, but the club has set a new example by bringing this facility within the reach of ordinary children at a very reasonable fee.
According to the organizers, their aim is not to make profit, but to attract the new generation towards healthy and positive activities.
The Independence Day event was also attended by the parents of the children. The event began with the cleaning of the sea view early in the morning, after which the horse riders’ contingent saluted the national flag and sang the national anthem.
Flags of friendly countries were also hoisted by the participants along with the green crescent flag of Pakistan, making the scene of the ceremony even more attractive.
An Independence Day cake was also cut during the ceremony, while children and youth participated in archery and target practice, expressing their determination to protect the beloved homeland.
