NEWYORK: The New Life Minority Human Rights Council organized an Eid Milan party and Qawwali Night at a local restaurant in Coney Island Avenue, New York, which was attended by large number of people including women and children.
The Turab Ali and Fateh Ali Qawwali group presented soul touching poetry which enthralled the listeners.
The Eid Millan party was moderated by Dr. Salma Kausar. Naat in honor of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was also recited on this occasion.
President of New Life Minority Human Rights Council Rahila Aslam expressed her gratitude to the participants of the Eid Milan party and Qawwali Night and congratulated them on Eid. The young girls appreciated the efforts of the New Life Minority Human Rights Council and congratulated the people on Eid.
The participants of the event were asked to vote in the upcoming elections. The Muslim campaign manager of New York city’s mayoral candidate Zahran Mamdani, Hassan urged people to vote for Zahran Mamdani. He said that if Zahran is elected he will be the first Muslim mayor of New York city.
Turab Ali and Fateh Ali Qawwali Group mesmerized the audience by presenting the qawwalis of famous Naat poetry “Tajdar Haram” and “Aao Madinay Chalen”.
The qawwali of “Wohi Khuda Hai” immersed the participants in the memory of the creator and the qawwali of “Allah Ho Allah Ho” created a spiritual atmosphere in the gathering.
