KARACHI: A condolence meeting was held at the Karachi Press Club to offer Fatiha on the sad demise of late Mohammad Idrees Rana, father of Voice of South Asia Chief Executive Officer Zahid Rana.
Senior journalists Maqsood Yousufi, Ayub Jan Sirhindi, Javed Asghar Chaudhry, Aamir Latif, Rizwan Bhatti, Joint Secretary of Karachi Press Club Mohammad Munsif, President of Karachi Union of Journalists (Dastoor) Nasrullah Chaudhry, and a large number of journalists and club members associated with various TV channels, newspapers and digital media attended the condolence meeting.
Senior journalist Abdul Jabbar Nasir offered Fateha for Zahid Rana’s father, the late Mohammad Rana Idrees.
Later, journalists condoled VOSA CEO Zahid Rana on the demise of his father and prayed Allah Almighty to grant courage him to bear this irreparable loss. Journalists and members of the Press Club said that there is no substitute for a father’s love and compassion and we all share Zahid Rana’s grief in this hour of sorrow.
