ILLINOIS: The annual memorial day picnic was celebrated by the Pakistan Physicians Society, a leading organization of Pakistani doctors in America, which was organized at the St. James farm forest preserve in Illinois.
More than 200 members participated in the picnic. Pakistan’s Consul General in Chicago, Tariq Karim, appreciated the organization of the picnic and said that Pakistani doctors are playing an active role in the socio-economic development of both countries.
Pakistan Physicians Society President Tehmina Bajwa expressed her gratitude to the participants of the picnic and said that next year Mrs. Subia Katariwala, Dr. Shahid Ahsan will be the president of PPS.
She also expressed special gratitude to Secretary and Treasurer Dr. Tariq Hameed, Councilors Dr. Iram Ahmed, Dr. Kishor Ali, Dr. Faiza Karimi, Dr. Syeda Saima, Dr. Noman Khan, Dr. Naseem Khan. On this occasion, Shaheen, Dr. Nuzhat Chalisa, Mr. Aamir Chalisa, and Asad Bajwa also participated along with the elected officials.
