NEW JERSY: Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians of North America, APPNA, an organization of Pakistani doctors in the America, New Jersey chapter has fulfilled another promise by launching an ambulance service for rural areas of Pakistan.
The Pakistani doctors’ association in the United States has launched an ambulance service for rural areas of Pakistan.
A free ambulance service has been started with the efforts of APNA New Jersey President Dr. Irfana Khan and her executive council.
An inauguration ceremony of the free ambulance service was held by APNA New Jersey in the rural area of Mohra Sharif in Chakwal district of Punjab province.
A large number of local people attended the inauguration ceremony. The founder the welfare project and former President of APNA New Jersey, Dr. Irfana Khan, made a special appearance.
She informed the audience about the aims and objectives of the project and also inspected the modern medical equipment in the ambulance.
Dr. Irfana Khan said that she sincerely thanked not only her team but also all the donors, sponsors, and especially the community of New Jersey who played a key role in the completion of this welfare mission.
Locals of the area appreciated the charitable initiative and thanked the APNA New Jersey team. They said that this service will become a new support for many lives.
