NEWYORK: The 50th annual ICNA-MAS convention of Muslims in America will be held from May 24 to 26 2025 at Baltimore.
Various imams and Muslim community leaders met for the three-day gathering. The 50th annual ICNA-MAS convention will be held under the theme of Standing Strong.
The 50th annual three-day gathering of ICNA, a major organization of Muslims in America, will be held from May 24 to 26. ICNA-MAS convention will be held under the theme of Standing Strong “identity rooted in faith.”
ICNA New York also hosted a dinner in honor of various imams and Muslim community leaders to discuss arrangements of the convention.
The meeting was attended by scholars, American officials and social figures. On this occasion, all the distinguished scholars also introduced themselves. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
ICNA’s New York secretary Humayun Haque moderated the meeting.
Addressing event, ICNA-MAS convention chairman Hammad Siddiqui and ICNA New York President Tariqur Rehman said that ICNA has been organizing the convention for the past 50 years.
They said that the aim of the three-day convention is to bring the Muslim community together and discuss various issues and find solutions.
ICNA’s north east director Arshad Jamal and ICNA’s sister organization Helping Hand official Shahid Farooqi said that Muslims were facing difficulties all over the world whereas ICNA has 12 different projects and as many as 200 million people have been helped. They said that they have always had the support of the Imams and mosques of the Muslim community.
A documentary based on ICNA’s services also shown to the participants.
ICNA Dawah in-charge Dr. Sabeel and other speakers informed about ICNA Dawah’s services and said that uniting the Muslims, a better future for people and their children lies in following the teachings of Islam.
American Muslims appreciated the services of ICNA-MAS and assured their full cooperation. They said that ICNA has many welfare services, especially helping women victims of domestic violence and establishing a community center for youth, among others. Later, prayers were offered at the end of ceremony.
