Pakistani American community stages protest demonstration against Indian water aggression

NEWYORK: The Pakistani American community held a protest demonstration against Indian aggression and cancellation of Indus Water Treaty at New York Times Square, in which representatives of political and social parties participated in large numbers.

The participants also chanted slogans against the Indian water aggression.

Pakistani Americans community took out Pakistan Zindabad rally at New York’s Times Square against India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan and its threat to terminate the Indus Water Treaty.

The participants of the rally were holding placards and Pakistani flags in their hands.

A large number of men and women participated in the demonstration.

The participants of the demonstration shouted slogans “Long Live Pakistan” and Anti-India and Modi. The protesters sent a message to the world that overseas Pakistanis are united to defend Pakistan.

The organizers of the Pakistan Zindabad rally at Times Square, Shahid Raza Ranjha, Ghulam Mustafa Diwan and Khursheed Bhali, said that Pakistan is our first priority and we will not accept any aggression and hostility against our country.

They demanded that Indian prime minister Modi should stop making false accusations of terrorism against Pakistan and not threaten to cut off water. They also warned Modi to refrain from violating the Indus Water Treaty.

Representatives of all political parties affiliated with Pakistan in the US participated in the anti-India demonstration and gave the message that Pakistani were united despite their political differences. They said that all Pakistanis will unite and confront the enemies for the survival and security of Pakistan.

The people participating in the demonstration said that they do not want war, but have come with a message of peace. They also made clear that if Pakistan is attacked, Pakistanis will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives to protect the homeland.
