ACP organizes launch ceremony of the Naat collection “Ishq Aqeedah” by renowned poet and journalist Alauddin Khanzada

KARACHI: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organized the launch of the collection of Naats “Ishq Aqeedah” by renowned poet and journalist Alauddin Khanzada at Hasina Moin Hall.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Professor Sahar Ansari presided over the event, while President Arts Council Mohammad Ahmed Shah, President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili, journalists Pirzada Salman, Khalilullah Farooqi, Ayub Sheikh, Abdul Jabbar, Khalid Moin and Usman Jami also spoke on the occasion.

Arts Council of Pakistan President Mohammad Ahmad Shah said that love and faith, this is the world, this is the lifestyle of Alauddin Khanzada. He said that whether you say Naat or Hamd, if you have stepped on the ladder of love, then you say all and the most prominent thing in the culture of any nation is religion and our religious rituals become a part of the culture. He congratulated Alauddin Khanzada on publishing the book.

President of Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili said that the collection of A.H Khanzada book is a whole journey, he divided this book into two parts, one Naat and the other Hamd.

He said that in a common poetry ghazal, the common reader sees his beloved, but in Naat, every person sees the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). He said that the way in which Khanzada has written Durood Sharif in Naat and  after reading book he thought this was a door for him.

Professor Sahar Ansari said that Alauddin Khanzada is a senior journalist. Naat is included in the life of every Muslim and understanding the etiquette of Naat is an art. He said that Alauddin Khanzada has expressed his passion through this collection of Naats.

Renowned journalist Pirzada Salman said that the journey of Naat starts from the subcontinent and reaches to our Khanzada. He said that love for Allah and the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) can be clearly seen in Khanzada’s poetry.

Renowned poet Usman Jami said that the arrival of A.H Khanzada’s book is a treasure in Urdu literature. He said that the love of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is clearly visible in this collection.

Khalilullah Farooqi said that Alauddin Khanzada has beautifully described the mention of the beloved master in this book through his own words. He said that Khanzada has narrated the biography of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) through Naat.

The author of the book, Alauddin Khanzada, expressed his gratitude and said that he was a crime reporter, but Allah gave him this opportunity to write something about the love of my Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Alllah Almighty.

He said that love for the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is not devotion, it is faith. He said that event is a source of pride for me and thanked the Arts Council and President ACP Mohammad Ahmed Shah for supporting him in organizing such a wonderful event.

Later, Rehana Ehsan recited the Naat Rasool Maqbool from Alauddin Khanzada’s book, while Shakeel Khan conducted the event.
