84 years old Pakistani returns to homeland after 27 years without getting US citizenship

NEWYORK:  An 84 years old Pakistani Mohammad Muzaffar, who moved US in 1997 for immigration purpose, finally returned to Pakistan without getting US citizenship.

Born in 1941, Muzaffar arrived US for better future during his mid-50s in 1997 but he could not succeed to get US citizenship despite lapse of 27 years.

In the fast-paced and hectic life of America, where everyone is racing for progress, Qaiser Chaudhry, the owner of a gourmet restaurant in the same city, sponsored Mohammad Muzaffar for about 10 years and also took care of his needs. Members of the Pakistani community said that Muhammad Muzaffar also served as a servant of the Mecca Masjid for about 17 years.

Friends of Muzaffar made arrangements for his return to homeland after considering his deteriorating health.  Muzaffar returned to Pakistan and met his family at Karachi Jinnah International Airport after 27 years where the family members and children of the Muzaffar met him with immense joy.
