Pakistan’s situation would have been improved if PML(N) government was allowed to work, Nawaz Sharif

NEWYORK:  Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that if his government was allowed to work in past the situation of the country would have improved.

Addressing PML(N) leaders and workers at local hotel in New York,  PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan needs strong leadership to face serious challenges.

On the arrival of PML-N founder Nawaz Sharif in New York, PML-N USA President Rohail Dar held a special meeting among the party leaders at a private hotel.  Nawaz Sharif was warmly welcomed by the party workers.

The senior vice president of PML-N US Mian Fayyaz and a large number of workers based in America participated in the meeting.

PML(N) leader highlighted the ongoing political situation, inflation and economic problems in the country and severely criticized the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government polices.

He said that the entire country knew that there was a conspiracy against him to oust him from the government in 2016. He said that people of Khyber Puktoonkhawa should have asked the PTI government as what they have done for the development in the province.

Referring successful projects of his previous governments, Nawaz Sharif said that PML(N) had made motorways throughout the country and spent more than Rs.50 to Rs.60 billion on Gilgit-Skurdu highways projects.

He said that if PML(N) government was allowed to work then the situation of the country would have far better than now and people may not suffer the miseries of unemployment and inflation.

On this occasion, the party workers asked Nawaz Sharif questions on many important issues and also drew attention to the problems being faced by them.

PML(N) leader said that  Muslim League (N) is a party of the people and it will continue its efforts to resolve the problems of the Pakistani people. He directed the leaders to strengthen  their contacts with the people and play an active role in communicating the party’s manifesto to the people.
