
NEWYORK: The New York Police Department’s Community Affairs Bureau observed a Resource Day at the Parkchester Islamic Center situated in the Bronx.
The students of the PIC warmly welcomed the police officers when they reached at the center.
A game truck was arranged for the children where the children played games. Horse riders contingent was also included in the police squad. The police also brought robots and drones which made the students very happy.
More than 150 students, including Pakistani and Bangladeshi students, were studying in the Islamic Center.
Community Affairs Bureau and Muslim Officers Society officers participated in the resource day.
Commissioner Foster, Detective Mohammad Ayman, Detective Noman Malik, Police Officer Hasan Saeed, Sergeant Latif of Community Affairs Bureau, Police Officer Shehryar Hussain, Sagheer Ahmed and others were also present on the occasion who told the students how they can use the resources and facilities of the police.
Police officers further said that students are the future of every society and they need special attention. They said that they tried to teach students some particle work.
