ICNA Relief distribute school bags to students at Coney Island

NEWYORK: ICNA Relief’s back-to-school program volunteers distributed school bags to school children at Coney Island.

ICNA Relief’s volunteers took part on its back-to-school campaign and over 200 school bags were distributed to the school students. Food was also served under the supervision of Masjid Quba’s food pantry incharge Dr. Ajab Khan.

ICNA Relief representatives said that America is a bouquet comprising of different nationalities.

A long queue was seen at the back-to-school program and the food pantry in which people from different backgrounds were included.

On this occasion, Coney Island’s well-known social personality and special guest Aslam Dhillon distributed school bags among the children and appreciated the efforts of ICNA Relief. He said that such activities should be continued to encourage the educational journey of children.

New York Police Department Community Affairs also assisted in the distribution process and distributed groceries from the weekly food pantry. Young persons, elders and women volunteered the ICNA Relief’s ongoing back to school campaign with much devotion.
