NEWYORK: Pakistan Muslim League (N) workers staged protest demonstration in New York on the arrival of Supreme Court judge of Pakistan Justice Athar Minallah in New York under the leadership of Mian Fayyaz.
The protesters said that no judge has the right to make decisions according to his feelings.
PML(N) leaders Danish Malik, Raja Razak and others were also participated in the protest. The protesters were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against judicial activism in Pakistan.
The protesters said that judicial activism should be stopped in Pakistan and all decisions should be decided in courts according to the constitution and the law instead of their feelings. The protesters said that judges should not be appointed in the judiciary on basis of political affiliation as it affects the process of administration of justice.
