NEWYORK: New York Police Muslim Officers Society celebrated Eid-ul-Adha festival at Adventure Park along with their families.
The festival was attended by President of NYPD Muslim Officer Society Adeel Rana and other office bearers.
Inspector Adeel Rana said that it is an annual Eid festival in which the families of officers of the Muslim Officer Society are also invited. He said that that big advantage of this festival was that Muslim officers from different countries of the world were participating in this event.
Auxiliary Deputy Chief Nasir Salim, who also participated in the event, said that this is the third year of festival which is organized with the cooperation of community and the police department. He said that this festival brought harmony among the people of the community.
Other officers of NYPD Muslim Officers Society said that today is a day to come together and celebrate.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed the event held at the Adventure Park and made their day memorable.
The Muslim Officers Society’s officials said that society will continue to provide entertainment and provide recreational opportunities to the community through such events in the future.
