NEWYORK: Preparations has been initiated for the 40 th annual Muslim Day Parade in New York.
The Muslim Day Parade will be held on September 29 this year.
A review meeting was held in Brooklyn to organize the 40th annual Muslim Day Parade in Manhattan, New York.
Members of the Parade committee Ainul Haq, Mian Fayyaz, Raja Razak and other members participated in the meeting.
President of Muslim Officers Society of New York Police department Inspector Adeel Rana, was also invited to further improve the arrangements of the parade.
It was suggested in the meeting that free transport service be provided to mosques and Islamic schools throughout New York so that the Muslim community can fully participate in the parade and school teachers and students can also be a part of the historic parade.
The organizers of the parade said that it has been always an effort of the parade organizers to bring together Muslims in the US at one place on one platform and this parade is also a part of such effort.
The organizers of the parade vowed that forthcoming Muslim day parade will be more organized and improved.
