Sindh police defeats NYPD cricket team by 10 wickets

New York City Police Department’s cricket team could not win even one of the three matches played in Karachi Sindh Police team defeated NYPD team by ten wickets in the third and last match in Karachi.

Sindh Police team had earlier won the toss and decided to bowl in the final match played at DHA Sports Club Moin Khan Academy.

The NYPD team made a good start and for the first 5 overs, the visiting team fought the host bowlers well.

NYPD captain Asad Munawar scored 36 runs off 21 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six. However, the entire batting line of NYPD collapsed after dismissal of NYPD captain and the visiting team could only score 86 runs in 15 overs.

Sindh police bowler Adnan Shah got 4 wickets of NYPD and gave 12 runs in his 3 overs.

Chasing a modest target of 87 runs, the Sindh Police team openers started a cautious and responsible innings and completed the target in 13.5 over without any loss.

IG Sindh Rifaat Mukhtar and senior officials of Sindh Police distributed medals and prizes among the players at the end of the match. NYPD captain Asad Munawar lifted the runner-up while Sindh Police team captain Adnan received the winning trophy.
