Global criticism mounting, as NJ based organizations condemn brutal attacks against Muslims at Al Aqsa

They are asking the elected officials to hold the Israeli Government accountable

New Jersey: International criticism and concern mounting after Israeli forces brutally attacked on Palestinians inside Islam’s third-holiest site, Al Aqsa Masque as a broad Coalition of New Jersey based organizations representing thousands of residents across the state has also condemned in strong words the gruesome attacks against the Muslim worshippers at the Al Aqsa Mosque Compound in Jerusalem.

In a statement the organizations expressed their collective solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters who are struggling to live their daily lives in the face of the brutal Israeli military occupation and demand action from Elected Leader.

The attack had sparked a military exchange of rockets and air strikes, with fears of further escalation.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had also expressed his “shock by images he saw of Israeli security forces beating people at the mosque.

The NJ based coalition of organizations expressed that they are outraged at the continuing scenes in Jerusalem at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which is one of the holiest sites in Islam to the world’s 1.5+ billion Muslims, where Israeli occupation forces have once again used excessive and lethal force against defenseless worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan.

The attacks against the worshippers continues a well established pattern of indiscriminate violence against Palestinian men, women and children exercising their basic human right to worship peacefully in their holy places.

They are calling on all of New Jersey’s Federal Elected officials, including Senators Booker and Menendez and NJ’s entire congressional delegation as well as Governor Murphy to condemn these violent attacks.

They are asking the elected officials to hold the Israeli Government accountable for its actions and to demand an end to the aggression against Palestinian worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

They are also asking them to demand that both Muslim and Christian Palestinians in and around Jerusalem, which has been their cultural and spiritual center for nearly two millennia, be given the true freedom of worship at their respective holy places.
