RAWALPINDI: Minister for Energy and Natural Resources of Turkiye Alparslan Bayraktar called on Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, with a particular focus on expanding Pak-Turkiye cooperation in the energy sector, strengthening bilateral ties and exploring avenues for strategic collaboration.
Both sides reaffirmed the commitment to enhancing partnership in areas of shared objectives and regional stability.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted the deep-rooted and historic brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye and appreciated Turkiye’s steadfast support to Pakistan at different international fora.
Turkish Minister Bayraktar acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace, stability and sustainable development and conveyed his country’s desire to deepen cooperation across the energy domain.
