DALLAS: Stand with Pakistan organized Independence Day celebration in Dallas with enthusiasm and national solidarity.
The independence day was attended by large number of Pakistani-American of all ages while the green crescent flag and the sound of national songs colored the atmosphere with the color of love for the homeland.
A rally was also taken out as part of the Independence Day celebrations in which cyber trucks paid tribute to the services of Pakistan and the Pak Army.
The rally ended at Texas King, the center of traditional Pakistani cuisine in Irving, where the main program of the Independence Day celebrations was organized.
Renowned singer Faisal Akhtar sang heart-touching national songs, which included special songs to pay tribute to the Pak Army.
Faisal’s voice and passion created excitement among the participants and slogans of Long Live Pakistan echoed everywhere.
Stand with Pakistan’s leaders Syed Fayaz Hassan, Fasih Haider and Sohail Pirzada, along with Iftikhar Darpan, Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, Sabeel Abbasi, Syed Aftab Siddiqui, Shaukat Mohammad, Texas King owner Khawar Abbas, and other leaders spoke. The speakers emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s independence and the role of the community for national unity.
Awards were also given to the presidents of the associations of Pakistani students living in the US for their services.
President of the Pakistan Society of North Texas, Attani Naeem Sukhia, Abid Baig and others were also present.
Later, Texas King restaurant specially arranged a free dinner for all the participants, which was enjoyed by the participants while Pakistan’s independence day cake was also cut.
The participants of the event made Independence Day memorable with songs and colors of happiness. The day ended with the determination that even while living abroad, the Pakistani community will always keep the spirit of love, unity and sacrifice for its homeland.
