NEWYORK: New Life Minority Human Rights Council and Council of People Organization organized a Mehfil-e-Milad in honor of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in New York.
Renowned reciters of “Hamd” (praise of God) and “Naat” (praise of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) illuminated the hearts of the audience with their soulful performances.
Ms. Tahir began the Mefil-e-Naat with reciting the Holy Quran, while Mrs. Rafia Suleman presented a “Hamd.”
A large number of women participated in the Mehfil-e-Naat. Renowned reciter Najma Rajput illuminated the hearts of the participants with love for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) by presenting “Hamd” and “Naat” in her soulful voice.
A key component of the event was shedding light on various aspects of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) life.
Sonia Aamir, Rahela Aslam (Head of the New Life Minority Human Rights Council), and Ms. Tahira spoke about the blessed life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The speakers emphasized the teachings of tolerance and mutual unity, urging the participants to strive to follow the Prophet’s (PBUH) example in their own lives.
The participants listened to the “Naat” recitations and illuminated their hearts with “Durood-o-Salam.”
Parveen Ashraf spoke about the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, while Fatima Kazmi, representing COPO, emphasized the importance of maintaining mutual tolerance, unity, and harmony.
Ms. Rashida attended the Eid Milad-un-Nabi gathering as the chief guest and recited the “Qasida Burda Sharif”, while Saima Jahan also recited Naat in honor of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
During the Eid-Milad-un-Nabi gathering, “Naat” and “Manqabat” were recited. Ms. Rashida led a prayer for the progress, prosperity, peace, and well-being of the Muslim “Ummah”.
Later, Raheela Aslam announced that a religious lecture would be held at the New Life office on the first Friday of every month. A special cake marking the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi was cut, and the participants were served a variety of refreshments.
