KARACHI: The Caretaker Sindh Minister for Information, Minority Affairs and Social Security Muhammad Ahmad Shah visited Karachi Press Club – KPC
The Caretaker Sindh Minister for Information the met office bearers and members of the KPC and also shares his views with the media.
In his media talk, he said that after taking the oath of the ministry, the first institution he has visited the Karachi Press Club.
He said that the Karachi Press Club is like his home and the office bearers and members here are all his friends and brothers.
He said that the Karachi Press Club is an institution with a reliable and respectable history and the services of the Press Club for the freedom of expression are excellent.
He said that the Karachi Press Club is his first training ground. He mentioned the names of senior journalists and said that all of them are his friends and teachers.
Mohammad Ahmad Shah said that he as a minister will also meet the media persons in the press club and solve their problems by sitting in this press club.
He said that he has been coming to this club for a long time.
The services and history of this press club is outstanding and unparalleled.
He said that the media is a watchdog, and it highlights the issues with the purpose to the resolve the same.
He said that Chief Minister Sindh Justice Retired Maqbool Baqir is the captain of our team and we have to highlight the work done by his team to the public with the help of media friends.
He said that we have brought together artists of every nation, tribe and faith in the Arts Council and have tried to play a role in creating harmony in the society.
He said that we will make every effort to solve the problems of the journalists and try to solve the problems as soon as possible.
He assured that the problems of the journalists will be solved in time with the support and patronage of the Sindh Chief Minister.
He said that the Department of Information is the department of journalists. We will also organize a training workshop for journalists with their help, he said.
He said that we will meet the journalists daily and solve the problems through mutual communication. The dues of the working journalist will also be paid.
He said that election is the most appropriate process to elect the people’s representatives.
In response to a question, he said that he believes in the mandate given by the people and people love them.
He said that we will listen and understand the problems of media persons through interaction with them and make their solution possible.
