Citizens of London have found a new way to travel that does not even have legal approval from government. E-scooters gaining popularity among city workers because many people are afraid to travel with other people in public transport amid Pandemic COVID-19.
Use of e-scooters is also gaining momentum due to limited public transport during the lockdown. E-scooters price starts from US 400$, with a top speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
According to E-scooter user said that traveling on an e-scooter is better than traveling with others. Although government’s pilot scheme for e-scooters is ongoing in 30 different areas, its use on public roads is not yet legal, nor is it clear whether citizens will need a license for the ride and how e-scooter insurance covers.
