NBA LA Lakers’ Rajon Rondo ‘suffers fractured thumb’
ANKARA
Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo has been injured, and thus ruled out of the game, an NBA insider claimed on Monday.
“Lakers guard Rajon Rondo has suffered a fractured right thumb, will undergo surgery and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks,” Shams Charania said on Twitter.
The-four-time NBA All-Star averaged 7.1 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds per game this season.
Rondo has also played for Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans.
The 34-year-old helped Boston Celtics win the NBA title in 2008.
