NYPD sergeant busted for shoplifting

A female  NYPD Sargent, who recently partied with  NYPD commisoner James O’Neill , arrested  for shop lifting 360$ of Designers cloths and  branded accessorize from a departmental store of Yonkers.

Off duty Sgt. Eva Pena, 37, was arrested at the chain’s store in Yonkers, after she was seen walking into a dressing room with merchandise and walking out without the items, court documents show.

Security cameras recorded her taking the sales tags off the clothing and placing the items in her purse before she tried to leave the store, according to an internal NYPD report on her arrest.

Pena tried to exit the store when she was stopped by a loss prevention officer, who asked to look inside her purse. Inside the bag were six clothing items, some with the price tags removed, police said.

Yonkers Police Department officers arrested her on charges of petit larceny. She received a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 6 in Yonkers City Court.
