ICNA Relief distributes school bags, educational material to over 1000 children under “Back to School” program

NEWYORK ICNA Relief organized a Back to School program at the Jackson Heights, Queens area of ​​New York, in which more than 1,000 children were provided with free school bags and educational materials regardless of color, race, religion, and nationality.

Promoting the spirit of humanitarian service, ICNA Relief organized a Back to School mega distribution program in Travers Park, Jackson Heights, Queens, where free school bags, stationery, and other educational materials were distributed to more than 1,000 children without discrimination. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran

ICNA Relief representatives say ICNA is committed to ensure that no child is deprived of education just because of financial difficulties, and this program is organized regularly every year with this in mind. The aim of this program was to help families who cannot afford to buy school bags and necessary educational materials for their children due to rising inflation.

ICNA Relief Northeast Director Arshad Jamal, Area Manager Ishaq Alpar, Media Incharge Moawiz Asad Siddiqui, Anwar Gujjar and several social leaders and American officials participated in the event.

The speakers appreciated the welfare services of ICNA Relief and said that the organization has been engaged in serving humanity without discrimination for many years and is playing a prominent role in the fields of education, health and social welfare.

The American officials participating in the ceremony also praised the services of ICNA Relief in the fields of education, health and social welfare.

A free medical check-up camp was also set up for children and their families during the program, where doctors conducted medical examinations, checked blood pressure and provided useful health advice and awareness.

The public got information about health, social services and other welfare programs at the awareness stalls set up by various organizations.

Special arrangements were also made for children’s entertainment on this occasion. Ice cream, food and snacks were distributed, while various recreational activities and a friendly atmosphere spread happiness on the faces of the children.

In addition, grocery packages were also distributed. A raffle draw was also held in the program, through which other valuable prizes including cell phones were distributed among the participants.
