Meet and Greet organized in honor of Congress candidate Dr. Adam Hamawy

NEW YORK: As the primary election in the United States approaches, the election excitement is getting momentum.

A meet and greet and fundraising dinner was organized in honor of Dr. Adam Hamawy, a Muslim candidate for Congress from the Democratic Party ticket from District 12 of the state of New Jersey, at the Marquee on Broadway in Nassau County.

Dr. Adam Hamawy presented his manifesto containing people-friendly and welfare projects.

The event was hosted by Dr. Mujahid Saeed, Adnan Bukhari and Vincent Vertuccio. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Prominent figures from the Pakistani American community from various fields participated in the Meet and Greet.

During the event, Dr. Adam Hamawy reiterated his commitment that after being elected in Congress he will improve health facilities and spend public funds on local welfare instead of foreign wars.

Dr. Adam Hamawy is a former US Army surgeon who served in the Iraq War. This time, he is receiving strong support from various progressive and community organizations thanks to his campaign slogan, Healthcare Not Bombs.

Congressional candidate Dr. Hamawy also shared his experiences from his medical mission in Gaza and emphasized the protection of human rights.

The organizers of the event and people associated with politics discussed Dr. Hamawy’s political manifesto and future plans with him.

The speakers expressed their hope that Dr. Hamawy wil become an effective voice in Congress if elected.

Later, Adnan Bukhari expressed his gratitude to the special guest and all the participants.

It is pertinent to mention that the primary elections in New Jersey will be held on June 2, for which Dr. Hamawy’s campaign is moving ahead rapidly.
