Pakistan calls for immediate cessation of hostilities in ME
NEWYORK: Pakistan has reaffirmed support for the resolution of the Iran nuclear issue through peaceful means.
It was expressed by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar Ahmad during Security Council briefing on the 1737 Committee (Iran).
The Ambassador emphasized that diplomacy and dialogue should be the guiding principles for achieving a negotiated settlement of all contentious issues in accordance with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the parties concerned.
