NEWYORK: Aghosh Al-Khidmat USA organized a fundraising dinner in New York in which members of the community generously donated.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Aghosh Al-Khidmat USA’s Volunteer Vice President Nasir Mahmood moderated the event.
During the program, the participants were informed about the missions and objectives of the organization to make clear the real purpose of the donations.
Nasir Mahmood said that Aghosh Al-Khidmat is an independent non-profit organization that serves the deprived and needy people around the world, especially in Pakistan.
The keynote speakers at the fundraising dinner included President Mahmood Alam and Founding Member Shakoor Alam, who expressed their enthusiasm for the organization’s success and service to the community by attending the event.
Addressing the participants, President of Aghosh Al-Khidmat USA Mahmood Alam described the services of Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan as a practical example of humanitarian compassion, sacrifice, and transparency.
He said that in the last 35 years, this organization has done significant work in the fields of emergency situations and humanitarian service in Pakistan, Palestine, Turkey, and other global regions.
Mahmood Alam also showed a video based on the performance of Aghosh Al-Khidmat, in which the activities of the organization were presented to the participants.
Later, special prayers were offered for the welfare of the community, the development of the organization, and blessings for the donors.
