NEWYORK: Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Asim Iftikhar Ahmad joined the Ambassadors and permanent representatives of 85 UN Member States and international organizations to strongly condemn unilateral Israeli actions aimed at expanding its unlawful presence in the West Bank and altering the demographic composition of the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967.
The condemnation came at a press stakeout organized by the State of Palestine.
Unilateral Israeli actions constitute clear violations of international law and relevant UN resolutions and also undermine ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
