APAG organizes winter drive, distributes warm clothes, essentials to low-income families

NEWYORK: American Pakistani Advocacy Group CARES distributed warm clothes and other essential items to hundreds of people in anticipation of the winter season in New York.

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group CARES organized a winter drive after Friday prayers outside the Mecca Masjid at Coney Island Avenue in New York in the freezing cold, in which more than 300 people were distributed warm clothes, jackets, gloves, warm hats and other essential items to protect them from the cold.

APAG CARES ‘s team members and volunteers said they want our community to be protected from the effects of harsh weather during the severe cold wave.

A large number of men, women, elderly people and worshippers also benefited from the winter drive of APAG CARES.

APAG CARES organizer said that APAG tried to provide the required facilities to its community not only during various festivals but also in all kinds of situations.

The community appreciated the efforts of APAG CARES for holding winter drive event and expressed its best wishes for them. APAG CARES says that they will continue their services for community services in the future.
