ISLAMABAD: The marriage ceremony of Pakistani-origin Republican leader Sajid Tarar’s daughter Ayesha with Major General Waseem Cheema’s son Shah Mir was held in Islamabad.
Federal ministers, political and social leaders, lawyers, overseas leaders from around the world and Sikh community leaders attended the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony was held at Shah Faisal Mosque.
Head of Sikh community in USA Jasdeep Singh Jassi and prominent figures from the Sikh community attended the wedding.
Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, member of the Pakistan Bar Council Ahsan Bhown, Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza, Minister for Minority Affairs Punjab Ramesh Singh Arora, former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, Kashmala Tariq and other political and social figures attended the ceremony.
Renowned singer Ali Zafar entertained the participants with his voice at the mehndi event.
